Abandonments

Rural and rustic photography with emphasis on abandoned barns, houses and pieces of equipment. Subjects are often forsaken and dilapidated, emanating a feeling of melancholy or a pensive mood. At the same time, "spirits of the past" surround these subjects and it is easy to feel their presence and visualize busy past activities. A good trip down memory lane!

Feel the Spirits
These old steps felt many footsteps over years past...and voices and laughter filled the porch and chairs too. It is easy to feel the spirits that still linger and drift about.
